The pictures show titanium grade 2 anodes with Ruthenium Iridium oxide coating.
The anodes were first cheaply produced in China, but customer has problems with breaking welds after the anodes were installed into the product and the returns and service costs of replacing them became a big problem.
After welding, no more welds are broken and service costs reduced to zero, problem solved.

Scroll through 4 pictures, we make a special titanium jig and welded the 800 pieces inside a purge chamber below 30 ppm.
The coating interruption was not ideal but was found to give no problem in the further usage.
